So my brittle-sweet story goes like this...I worked in Human Resources for many years and at one point thought it would be the chosen career for the rest of my life. Truth is, I started to hate it. I woke up one day and decided I had enough.
My husband and I made a momentous decision to move to Nevada and I had no desire to go back to HR. Soon after, those "thought bubbles" I had brought me the idea to start making brittle. I'm not a pastry chef by any means, but I consider myself to be a decent baker and cook and I'm always up for a challenge.
It all started with wanting to do something different and fun and having more flexibility in my life! After countless "thought bubbles" hovering over my head and careful consideration, making brittle came to mind.
